It was in my C220 when I bought the car.
I removed it when I installed an in dash CD. (Removed the factory head unit)
I don't have any documentation but I think it was installed in 98.

Well could you at least look on the bottom of the unit and let me know the model number and does it play mp3's cds or is it just only original store bought cds, and is it the regular wired or is it the fiber optic model. let me know please. Thank you

We have that in the 92 we just bought and we cant get it to work, The head unit is a sony Xplod so is it us or is it somthing someone else did to it?.
