Title say it all. My w124 wagon has electrical ghosts. Is the r&r a DIY? Thanks

Wiring harness

PM sent

First, you have to get the part number from your old harness
124 440 5632 or 124 440 2933 - follow the wires from the ecu back about 18"

The corollary to the saying "There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes is "There is nothing worse than a cheap Mercedes part". Believe me, been there, done that. Much regret.

Well I'd only buy a updated harness- so if someone sells it for $600 or $60 it's still what I need.

Thanks- will do!

BTW mine is a 440-2933 version

My wiper would come on from time to time by itself- although I think that's in the stalk. I'm blowing the #1 fuse and it would operate fine if I put a 32 amp in place of the 8A, but now it blows that one when the car is started. Strange idiot light comes on saying I have bulb out as well- but it appears to be unrelated to the wipers and windows. All lights appear to operate as designed. I'm thinking its the harness.

Where is the date of mfgr? I appear to have two dates on my harness. One below the part# and one in a box.
