FOR SALE: PALAMINO BACK SEAT COVER - BUTT PART
I am re-skinning my back seats and I was incredibly surprised to find my back seat skin not falling apart where the brown fabric meets the MB Tex. There are slight tears in the corners, but over all nice shape.
Also, the whitish thin fabric on the inside was likewise in surprisingly good shape. This back seat is the "dimple" style. $25.00 plus shipping. Here are 11 pictures. Let me know if you want more. PM if interested. W123 Chassis Application, 4-Door Sedan |

Mark - I am not quite sure what you are doing with your seats, but if you ever thought of dyeing your seats, I wanted to let you know I dyed my 300CD leather seats (Palomino) and they came out beautiful. I used the dye from Color Plus in Milford, Pa and actually applied the dye using a soft bristle brush. No brush marks, perfect color match, beautiful. They have been done now about 6 months and very durable. The same results were achieved dyeing a set of MB Tex seats (blue) about 1 year ago.

I love the dye too. I dyed some interior items with a dye from Parasol, Inc., and I was incredibly impressed with the dye. Those pieces are still lasting. I just got new leather since I figured that I should be able to restore my car 100% in the next 2 years, and that includes all the mods, et cet., and those restorations and upgrades should last another 20 years. By that time, I will be getting close to less driving and more getting ready to meet my maker so to speak. |
