84 300d euro 4spd parts car testing waters
 

OK guys some of you may remember me asking opinions on buying this car a little while back. Well I ended up picking it up for the hell of it and now reality has sat in and I have no idea what to do with it. Thought it would be cool to pull 4spd stuff and put in a wagon. But guess what...I don't own a wagon! Lol . So reality is I don't need another yard ornament. Would like to get what I paid for it and send it on its way. I know I can part it out and probably make some money but would love for someone to just take it whole so I don't have to mess with it. On to the car...

OK car is a 1984 euro 300d. Has N/A om617 and manual 4spd trans. Before everyone asks euro bumpers and headlights have been removed. Car was mint and previous owners pride and joy until his wife was side swiped and totaled it. It is 172 metallic anthracite grey with 255 cream leather interior. Car also has manual crank windows and manual sunroof. It does also have the M injection pump. Car is 95% complete and starts right up. Does not have a glow plug relay but have one robbed from one of my other cars temporarily. Have only putted around the yard with it, has a hydraulic leak somewhere and therefore has no brakes or clutch pedal at the moment. Depending on how long I have it I may look further into where its leaking from. Has 168k on odometer. Really a shame, would have loved to have owned it in its prime.

Got giddy and paid 850 for it so that's what I'm asking for it. If no one picks it up in next few weeks I will start parting it out. Feel free to ask me any questions or even make me an offer. I will listen but as I said I literally just bought this car so I really would like to not get hurt too bad on this deal. Thanks guys!

If the interior is good all around I may be inerested in getting ALL of it and swapping into my orange '77. Kinda nuts since I have no time to do this a third time to my car, but cream was the original match and would look great.
How are those seats?

I would grab the whole car, but can't afford to reimburse you that price right now.
How about some cash and maybe some interesting parts that I already have ready?

I could also really use the hubcap clips if they are nylon tipped to attach to allow rims!

Hey guys please don't be afraid to make offers on entire car. I have some interest in parts but not gonna have time to disassemble this thing anytime in the near future.

poor car that is sad....strange how it has the auto climate control if it was truly a euro.....also bummer your not looking to pull parts...if I was local I would try to get the whole car...

ACC, leather and SLS (including even 4-wheel SLS, for purchasers providing proof of their desire for punishment) were options in the European market.

Guys, not that I'm not willing to pull parts from it. Just don't have any spare time for a little while. Wife is ready to pop out our 3rd any day, daughters b-day party this weekend, working 72hr weeks next few so just not possible. If I still have it when things calm down I will start pulling stuff. I have a couple messages already from people wanting stuff so if you just want parts, pm me and I will keep it in my inbox so I know who to contact if/when I start pulling stuff. I was just hoping to take the easy way out Lol .

Haven't been on here in a while due to having a baby and work. Haven't touched this car in months. If someone wants it, 550 and its yours. Need cash and want it out of the yard.
