Hi. Could you clarify if the entire pump is brand new, or was it rebuilt in some way? For instance, do the IP diaphragm and poppet cam and pump elements all have zero miles on them? I am still new to all this and only seen rebuilt pumps for sale here. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for your reply to my earlier question. Am I correct that your IP was intended for an early w123? I have been trying to figure out if it will work on my w115 220d, and am struggling. You IP is clearly pneumatically controlled, so that matches. This document from the FSM... http://mylittlefanfic.com/fsm/w123CD2/Program/Engine/615/07-200.pdf indicates that the pes4m55c320 RS60 may have gone in a 615.941 or a 616.912. Do you know if that means it could work in a 2.2L engine? That same document also indicates that the "control rod path length" could differ for a pes4m55c320 RS60 IP depending on which engine and which vehicle model year it was intended for? I honestly don't know what the "control rod path length" even is, or if I need to worry about it. I don't mean to make you my own personal consultant here, but do you know if it would be possible to use your IP with a OM615 220d sedan. Thanks. |
not sure...
.
not sure mate,I will search around the thing I m sure of is this is perfect match to 616.912 the best option is to ask Bosch or Stealership guys....they have BOOKS :) edit : check this site http://www.dieselevante.it/fuelpumps/index.asp?p1=BOSCH&p2=PES...M-MW cheers . |
Thank you for taking the time to find that info for me. As you stated from the outset, your IP is clearly intended for a 240D. While I bet it would work in a 220D at most load conditions, my hunch is that the engine would run too hot at full load. My cooling system is already marginal for my current IP, and probably couldn't handle more fuel. So despite your IP being an amazing deal, I am going to have to pass. Thanks again and good luck with the sale.
