WTB: looking for center console pass. side window switch assembly

Looking for a pass side window switch assembly for a 83 240d. The front and rear switches is made together on the center console.
Thx.

My only comment (having been down this road) is that you can buy them new, either OEM or off-brand, and that the reviews for the off-brand have been dismal. They get crappy after time. And replacing them with another old one is kind of waiting for the same thing to happen again. Anyway, that's the conclusion I came to on my 85 300TD...

Eeek. I just looked at pricing:

URO: MSRP - $94, online price - $24
OEM: MSRP - $240, online price - $215

That's from one vendor who shall remain nameless.

Looking at the same part from an actual MB dealership on-line I see:

OEM: MSRP - $135, online price - $100

A lot, but if you really want it fixed...
The part number I'm checking is: 0008208110

I will be putting up some used 123 stuff up for sale in the next few days (hopefully). Among the items that I have is a drivers side window switch in nearly new shape - not what you want, I know, but I may have the pass. side somewhere as well. If you can hang on for a few days, I will look, and if I have one, make sure it is decent.

If somebody else offers you one in the meantime, go for it.

I had harvested lots of the console switches from junkyards back when I owned a W123. When mine started flaking out I was really disappointed to find out just how many of them worked in most settings but not all (front down doesn't work but front up works, rear up and down works) or the arrow had disappeared and turned into the famous round dot.

Beware of the aftermarket switches; often they do not have the internal light and they do not fit the console wood accurately. I do have a passenger side switch that is genuine MBZ and works fine but the graphic is worn to the white circle. If you want it for free just send me your address and I will send it off to you.

Specifically, the URO switches are not illuminated.

Well; I appreciate all the info. But; you do know the switch I'm after is an assembly.
Pass side front and rear switches is one unit. BWhitmore; I sent you an email. Thx. If the Mods want
to close this thread they can. Got a switch coming.
Thanks to all!

Yup. Knew that. The prices I posted were for that module. The single switch for back doors is cheaper.

Scott: would you happen to have a nice fully functional oil pressure/temp/fuel gauge for a 1983 300D. This gauge has the black caps on each needle. Thanks.

Sorry. I have hardly any W123 parts. A few wagon-specific items and some switches mostly... No instruments.
