81 300SD --- Parting Out
I am also parting out my 300SD
I took the engine/tranny/wiring harness/ancillaries for my Metro transplant. All other parts are available... Some Highlights are: Oil Cooler : good shape ... no galling on the threads Aux Fan : good shape Radiator : good shape AC Cooler : good shape Coolant Overflow : good shape other big parts (like gas tanks or power steering pump or heating regulator) are also up for grabs ... just know that they may take some work to get to and get out Most electronics (switches and modules) are up for grabs There is likely a lot more that is available ... just let me know and I'll send picts out as soon as possible. The car is currently 25 miles from my house ... at the Binder Boneyard ... so it may be a day or two between replies... Every part is 'reasonable offers accepted' 'you pay shipping' 'shipping from Redmond Oregon' Text to this number works just as well as email to the forum. Why is the oil cooler and radiator available? The engine will still need that.....unless you have a different oil/engine cooling solution...

Good observation.
Yes... I will have a different solution. The layout in the metro will require some different plumbing and arrangement because of the size / layout of the front opening. Geoff
