WTB: #4 injector hard line for OM602 (OM601,602,603)

My Om602's #4 injector hard line is broken. I've got a new one on order from Mercedes but its going to be coming from Germany and will take probably at least 2 weeks!

I'd like to get my 300D back on the road sooner than that as my current driver needs some work.

Anyone have an injector hard line that I buy in the mean time?

Some are mine, some are a buddy of mine's. He doesn't post on much so I included them in my sig in case someone had a question or something about them as I do work on them from time to time.

My fleet consists of:
89 420SEL (bad control arm!)
82 300SD (long term restoration--steering, air intake, rear window, driver's fender, passenger rear quarter, minor underbody rust...)
82 300SD (my dad's daily driver, just rusty!)
93 190E (my current driver--front bearings are getting noisy and probably need repacked or replaced)
91 300D (the car in the above post, just needs a #4 hard line)

His fleet:
87 560SEL (his)
87 560SL (his)
87 420SEL (his moms)
93 300E (his sisters)
87 Chevy R10 (work truck, currently broken due to differential failure)
06 Jeep Wrangler 65th Anniversary Edition (something is broken, cant remember what)
66 Chevy Impala (ultra long term restoration, everything is broken, interior is good though!)
12 Suzuki bike of some sort that I can remember.
91 300SE (T-boned in 2010)

When I order parts that come from Germany, then are at the dealer in two days. At no extra cost.

I placed the order from a dealership online, maybe thats something to do with it. They have disclaimers about lead times and such.

Whenever I would place orders from another online dealership place they did take a few days extra, maybe its different for in person customers?

I saw one post on BW about someones new injector line breaking and being made out of thinner walled material.

Sounds like communism.

Lead times may change depending on if the dealer has placed their daily order for that day. Some other brands don't like daily orders and parts end up on a weekly stock order but I haven't run into this lately. Even for brands that only place a weekly stock order, there is usually a next day service available for a fee. Sometimes this fee is a few % or small $ but pays to ask first if parts are shipping UPS / Fed Ex.

For web orders, someone probably has to transcribe the orders into the MB system so there may be an additional delay. Then, someone has to package and ship orders from the dealer.

Oh, as for the line breaking, injector lines need to be properly supported, the can vibrate and flex in normal operation. Lines ( and rubber hydraulic hoses ) want to straighten out with each pressure increase further causing flexing.

Hey, what happened to the current hard line? If it's broken or something, I'd be interested in it...
