Possibly....

I replaced the exhaust from front to back in 2005 on one of my W124's with new aftermarket parts after the indy I worked with gave me some multi thousand dollar estimate to replace it. I called around to the local muffler shops until I found one that would let me buy the parts and they would do the install. They charged me $150 for the install. I'll have to go back & see what the parts were, but I think $500 covered it. Get on the web & check out a-m exhaust parts cost and then on the phone to your local muffler shops. Good luck.

P.S. Every time I brought my car to the indy for repairs after I did the exhaust job away from him he'd always commented that the exhaust looked "shakey". I finally got tired of his comments after a couple of years and dropped him. Now I'm coming up on 10 years with my shakey exhaust job with aftermarket parts.

Sounds good to me.....

If I amortize my $650 over 10 years that's pretty cheap......if you do the same on your $320....sounds like you've got the solution. Good luck.
