WTB om603 18-20 or 22 head
Does anyone have an updated head laying around . My #14 head just went south on my sdl and i was trying to revive it on the cheap. I'm not looking forward to pulling the head off but this is what i must do to keep it alive.

Not sure if my '82 240D has the same motor/head. I pulled the motor in 9/2013, it ran very strong with 199K. Car was so rotted I was able to put my hand through the floor in multiple spots.

They pop up on ebay sporadically, not as expensive as some would claim.
How did it crack specifically? |

I usually a spare #17 head on hand
I have a #17 head, which is the upgraded replacement for a cracked #14.
I also have injector lines for either straight #14 or angled #17 and up heads (highly recommended when replacing a #14 head, bending lines to fit is not a good idea). I might have a set of cleaned injectors too - I clean these with ultrasonic cleaner AND a hard to find Bosch mechanical diesel injector cleaner set . PM me details Also: I usually have a 17# head and injector lines available, so at any time if anyone is looking anytime in future, PM me.
