I need the black plastic cover that fits behind the battery in a 95 E320 (wagon). I would think the same as a sedan. my latest project came with it, as well as under-engine cover but thats too large to ship. I'll never know how shops, owners whatever lose these things.

I got one that came from a '92 300D. Part # 124-626-16-30 if you (or anyone) can confirm it will work on a gasser as well. I just listed it on EB this morning for $28+ S/H but if you want it I'll take $26 shipped if you PayPal me fee free.

Two members offered to sell me this battery cover, I was about to pay for one but this afternoon I went to pick up my car which I dropped off to have my mechanic friend work on for me (new struts, gas spheres in the back and some bushings in the suspension) well he had already left early so I did a quick look and discovered there is a battery cover now, I guess he had one stored away. So I am all fixed up on that
I am certain something else will appear on the want list though but first a little country drive to check it out this weekend.

mechanic found the cover in some stuff in the back seat of the car, that shows you I didn't know what all I had when I took possession of the car
I aloso discovered a pocketfull of change in the ashtray also. partial refund I guess.
