Hello, I am looking for the whole antenna mast that comes out of the top of the power antenna motor, the part that goes up through the fender, for my 91 420SEL. The main mast is 14mm in diameter. And I need everything that goes in it.

Is this electric and automatic, as you switch the radio on ? If so the mast you can purchase on there own .The number you need will be on the very end tip of the extended part ,you need this to order a new one .All instructions will come with it . Any info you need ask,as i have just replaced mine . The old unit will need to be removed from the trunk.And a new rubber fender grommet insert will be needed for fixing it back in. Removal is to open it up, and clean out any broken bits from the old mast, if it was broken off.

Edben can you check the end tip of the mast .Can you see any numbers ,might it be h04 by any chance. Can you check this site out, and i know its in the uk but you might find information on the one you need.Then you can look in usa for the right number to get after.

Thank for the replies. The tip is gone. The stupid gate at my development took it off and i didnt realize it right away. I have the unit out of the trunk and tried a couple i found in the junk yard. But they are the 16mm type. The only numbers i have are on the motor unit its self. It is the kind that goes up when the radio is on. Its not a stock radio. If that matters at all. I have my phone bluetoothed to it so i can get my music. Dont care for radio to much. Just need it when i am traveling and need weather updates.

You can contact the company that sells the replacement masts and ask them. They would know the type you need to fit the ariel motor ..You can just push another ariel mast in there it will work just the same but wont retract ,it will have to stop up .
