I ACQUIRED ONE FROM DIESELDIEHARD. THANKS FOR ALL THE OFFERS!

My roommate is in need of a car to get to work, so GregMN donated a 1991 W126 350SDL. Unfortunately, the injection pump is confirmed as being very worn by the injection shop and is dumping fuel into the crankcase.

OM603 engines don't seem to exist in wrecking yards around here. What we're looking for is a good, working injection pump for less than eBay prices. If you have one that you'll sell fairly cheaply, let me know. Here is the one that came out of the car:

I have a good 603 IP, it came off my '87 300D when I installed a 606 (or was it a OM605?) IP and I have to say I never saw any difference in acceleration or fuel economy, it just looks nicer
There were no operating deficiencies in the pump when removed.
It is stored at another location but I believe it had the seals replaced.
I am just now listing other 603 parts as I can. I haven't been a regular on the Forum for a long time since I retired I find myself traveling and doing more than when I was employed.
I'll PM you with the details after I check it but that won't be before Monday.

I was able to get a bargain on a very nice injection pump from dieseldiehard. I don't think I could have got a nicer used one at any price! I'm ordering some parts and should have it on in about a week.
