W123 OM616 every part / short block

Short block - now fully disassembled. Will be headed to the scrapper on 9/14/15 if no one takes it.

SOLD: intake and exhaust manifolds, lowest drain pan has some damage, but can be saved.

Had 199K on it from a 1982 240D, ran well when removed from car in September of 2013.

You do realize that not everyone has a txt and you are limiting your market don't you?

Everyone on the net will have e mail and a regular phone. Even if they have a cell, texting on a plain numeric phone key pad is too cumbersome.

I don't talk on the phone (hearing issues).

Since I am sending this to the scrapper tomorrow morning, I had hoped someone would contact me asap.

Email directly: Anthonycutlass6@yahoo.com - put "block" in subject line.

Thanks.

Yep, I understand TXT helping the hard of hearing thing. Allowing E mail would help the situation. When I see TXT only, it makes me think a seller can't be bothered with checking e mail or listening to voice mail, in that case I bypass their ad entirely.

As for people still calling. If someone only has a land line only how can they txt? What if they are poor spellers ( or functional illiterate ) how would they contact you without embarrassment? How would a blind person txt you?

Perhaps stating why txt is preferred would reduce the calls. In my case if the reason for txt only was stated and I really wanted what the other party was offering, I'd make an effort to txt somehow.

I skip to the second portion of your statement above. No one really wanted it enough, so it got scraped this morning.

Thanks

If someone has a landline only, I won't be renting to them as txting can be used in court and has saved me tons of time. As for the blind, I have no clue how they would read my ad to find out about my txt only reason in the first place. Well, thanks for your input on here.

You do realize it's 2015 now right?

colincoon - you got that right - some people want to keep to their conditioned ways. Ask a kid under the age of 20 what a phone call is and watched the questioning look. No one will be talking on the phone other than old people within the next few years.
