FOR SALE: W123 Manual Sun Roof - ENTIRE CAPSULE
I bought this around a year or so ago from GatorBlue. It is the entire manual sun roof assembly, sometimes referred to as the sunroof capsule. Selling for $125.00 plus shipping. It is already crated. It weighs a bunch, so shipping might be pricey. Guessing it weighs around 50 pounds. I am willing to drive some distance to meet a buyer sometime after the 3rd of 10th of January 2016. No rust or damage. Pictures coming on the 3rd or 10th of January also.
I am selling it because my current car does not have any sunroof. Somewhat odd to not have a sun roof, but I like not having one. Makes things simple. So, instead of chopping or modifying your car, here's the entire sun roof. This INCLUDES DieselGiant's video on how to safely remove your rear window since you will need to do that to install. |

Here are some pictures. I guess I lowered the price too low, as I had a really robust response. Instead of individual PMs, here are pictures for everyone. And no, not going to un-crate it to take pictures.
This was going into my car until I got a new one and the new one has no sunroof. I bought this from GatorBlue a summer or two back. I think he got it from JB3. Overall, nice condition from what I can tell. The only known damage is the handle, as pictured but it still works but that will need to be fixed at some time but it's cosmetic, and course gaskets at some point as well since they are probably the originals. |

Yes I got this from JB3. It was in good shape when I had it but did need the seals/gaskets replaced and track lubed. It was originally going in my 280E before I sold it. I looked for additional pictures from when I had it but couldn't find any.
