WTB 68-72 2.8L FI M130 running engine

Looking for a running 68-72 2.8L injected engine. Anyone have a rusty sedan that they would be interested in selling? Also looking for a 4/5 speed set up for the same.

I have a parts car (71 280SE) with $46,000 in recent receipts including a $9000 engine rebuild. But I'm on the wrong coast.

I bought it on speculation because I have two Fintails that could use lots of the parts. Potentially the engine will replace the M189 engine in my 1965 300SE (depending on how well I can get the M189 to run...). The car itself is a complete rust bucket. It is not worth repairing. FWIW it's a euro spec 280SE. It drives well but if it were in a bad accident I think it might fold in half. I don't think it can be jacked by the jack points.

Basically the previous owner put WAY too much money into this car for too many years when the rust was making it worthless. The car has spent its life in Germany, Alaska, east coast, and Portland. I had it shipped to me in Los Angeles. We don't see cars like that in S. California.

If anyone is seriously interested I can send you an excel file of the repairs and costs made over the history of the car (which goes back to about 1976 I think). It's a 3 owner car with complete records from owners 2 and 3.
