---Sold / gone to ebay so that they go away. Thanks anyway folks!---

These parts came out of my '87 300TD with the engine when I installed the up-rated engine. I kept these on the spare engine until now, but it is time to let go. The car had under 200K on the clock at the time, ran great, idled great, started great, ... but I had built this nice higher-output engine and needed to put it somewhere!

IP ran and idled great, has not been altered other than the ALDA is adjusted 1.5turns rich (which I can reverse before shipping if you want). The timing device is not included, just in the picture.I removed and capped the IP to keep as a spare, at this point it doesn't appear that I need a spare. This is the one that the diesel tuners want, as do the 606 guys, and it's in great shape.
$550 + shipping

Injector hard lines: I installed a #22 head on the new engine, installed new lines instead of tweaking these to fit the inclined-injection head. Again kept on the spare engine, no longer see a need for them. IIRC they also fit a 602.
$140 + shipping

Injector nozzles are as above, ran and idled great, have been capped in a box for long enough to say goodbye. They are for the early non inclined-injection head OM603 (and 602) turbo.
$100 for the set + shipping

Vacuum pump same as above. It worked well, bearings seem good and tight, but a new engine gets a new pump. Not a bad pump to keep a spare, if you are so inclined.
$50 + shipping

I plan to tear down this engine further, timing cover, other parts to come off as I upgrade it for a future project. Head is gone, turbo gone.

I don't watch used part prices much, this is just what I found when looking through the classifieds (quick scan), so don't crucify me if I'm off.

I'm putting lots of my "spare" 124 and 603 parts on fleabay in the coming weeks (due partially to my DSW's request for a garage cleaning) and wanted to list these here first, but if they don't sell in a few days they're going to be sold there also, I want to clean once.

If you're in the NE Indiana area, or know someone who is, there are lots of large parts also that are probably not worth shipping (ex: 124 front seats, late 124 headliner in perfect condition, late 124 dash, 603 intake and exhaust, excellent early 124 front rotors, etc., etc.) that I will happily make a deal on and the bonus is that they're already off of the cars!

I keep too much stuff.

Is that vac-pump the old style or the new style?
Kinda hard to tell from the pic

Old style. Was on my '87 when I bought the car (used), don't know if it was original but it has the crimped lid.

The photos get pretty bad when I compress them to fit this site's max.

Howdy,

"Injector nozzles are as above, ran and idled great, have been capped in a box for long enough to say goodbye. They are for the early non inclined-injection head OM603 (and 602) turbo. $100 for the set + shipping"

Any other history or information relative to the injectors??

Thanks in advance.

I drove the car for a couple of years with that engine, it ran great. No idea whether they had been serviced prior to my buying it. Around 2010-2011 (long project) I decided to pull the engine and install one that I had built on a stand, has the #22 head. Cleaning out old parts at this point.

OK, Thanks for the response.

So, it's possible they are the original nozzles in the injectors?

babymog 05-04-2016 06:21 PM

It is possible, I haven't cracked them open to look.

Injectors are sold, I put the rest on fleabay just to get them gone.
