245/40/17, this would be the OE size for CLK 430. This was the OE tire up until the Pilot sport came out. I had one blow out on my Cab at 7k miles and wanted the set to match. I know this is a long shot, but thought someone might have soem takeoffs or one off a wreck. thanks for your help, allen.

You might want to check with the Wheel Collision Center in Bath, PA. They do high end wheel repair and may have some of the tires you need. They have a web site www.wheelcollision.com or you can reach them at 1-800-292-RIMS (7467). I have not done business with them but I hear good things about them through the grapevine.
