Where Can I Find???
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND THE BLACK MATERIAL WITH FOAM BACKING THAT COVERS FLOORS IN A 1980 300SD 116.MINE HAS GONE VERY BRITTLE AND IS CRACKED SO THE FOAM IS GETTING VERY WET.MY FLOOR MATS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE BUT MOISTURE FROM SNOWY SHOES ECT SEEMS TO GET IN THERE.MY CONCERN OF COURSE IS RUST THRU.IS THERE ANOTHER MATERIAL ON THE MARKET THAT COULD PROVIDE BOTH SOUND DEADENING AND MOISTURE RESISTANCE OR CAN THIS ORIGINAL STUFF BE BOUGHT SOMEWHERE?

The wetness you're getting is more likely a leaky windshield...very common with 116s.
