What kind of big brake upgrade did you do?
I have clk's and Penta's. Like them both.
Ran shims on the steering knuckles of my W123 wagon so the clk setup wouldn't rub on the tie rod ends.

Swapped the brakes from a late W126. Only had about 1 mm of clearance on the calipers with the 15" Pentas and did not feel comfortable with that. The tie rod ends are close with the CLK wheels, but seem fine so far.

Thanks, the clk clearance depends on the tires too. Mine were just kissing the boots on the rod ends.
