717 412 Transmission for sale
124 260 98 01 717 412
This was shipped to me in error from Germany. It has been sitting in my garage for too long. I would rather not ship it, but probably could. I am north of Atlanta GA. $500 or best offer. |

Does it include anything like a flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, clutch fork, etc?

I would guess that with no flywheel, you need to find someone who would want to have it around for a rebuild / core or to go from a 4 to 5 speed on their existing car. With no flywheel etc, it makes this just one of many pieces needed for a swap.

I was hoping that someone might need to replace theirs. I have a friend that was thinking about a conversion, but without all the rest, it's not really practical.

If I was closer, I'd make an offer since I could see possibly using it. Have you considered putting it in one of those plastic storage tubs with plywood support and getting the weight and dimensions for shipping quotes?

What models will it fit?

I'm not really sure. I have been told on the forum that it fits a car with a left side starter and a single mass flywheel.
I shipped the broken one via UPS. It went to someone with an account, so it did not get weighed, and I have no idea what it cost. The biggest problem was finding a box it would fit in. I's see if HD has something that would work. |

Sprinbank your transmission came in the 190E 2.3 with a single mass flywheel and it will also fit with the proper flywheel the following gas engines 102, 103, 104, and 111 and Diesel engines 601, 602, 603, and 606 I hope this will help you sell the transmission

The transmission will weigh approximately 70lbs.
It will fit into a home depot "wardrobe box" just cut the box down, so its size more closely matches the size of the transmission and reinforce the bottom of the box with extra cardboard. Fedex will charge approximately $50-$100 to ship it. Good luck

I have a driveshaft out of a 190e 2.3 five speed in case any one here is planning on collecting parts to have a swap kit into a 190e 2.3.

717.212 will not hold up to anything turbo and probably not a 603 or 606. Shame it's not like a .414 or .431, I'd buy it in a heart beat.
