WTB: late M130 cylinder head
 

Hi all,

I just got some bad news from my mechanic stating that my 1970 280se's head is rotten and can't be fixed. I'm trying to track down a good used head (can be bare or with valve train) with no corrosion somewhere in Southern California.

I know my mechanic (Ludwig at L&M Motors in Los Angeles) is putting his feelers out as well, but if you guys have a line on one, I'd appreciate it.

Again, my car is a 1970 280se 2.8l

If the head turns out to be $$ or can't be found, the deck can be welded to fill in bad spots if the head is aluminum.

Luckily, my mechanic found a good head. Mine was rotten inside where it couldn't be welded. No bueno.
