1986 500SEL ECE Part Out
 

I'm parting out this 1986 500SEL ECE. It has genuine tri y exhaust manifolds attached to a M117.965 engine. The engine has had the timing chain and chain guides replaced, but it would appear that there is some wear on the cam lobes.

Engine compression test results (done with engine completely cold):
Cyl. 1 180PSI. Cyl. 5 170PSI
Cyl. 2 180PSI. Cyl. 6 190PSI
Cyl. 3 180PSI. Cyl. 7 180PSI
Cyl. 4 180PSI. Cyl. 8 170PSI

The car does run and drive. I drove it 500 miles to get it home and didn't have any problems. If someone wants the whole thing, make me an offer.

It also still has the ignition timing adjuster and the euro headlight switch, and euro shift gate. Also, it has a brazil leather interior with a light ivory exterior.
