1997 E420 MB 744 Silver w/Anthracite Blk interior.
I put a batteyr in vehicle and cluster showed 175K Engine did spin

I guess this is #3 car to resurrect the Chicago Diesel Beast which needed a lot of small interior pieces and miscellaneous stuff and since I own another W210 there were some pieces worth keeping CCU, switches, etc.

Nice southern car no rust if someone want the entire car with clean MS title you can have it for $200. Good chassis to save another rust belt victim.

If I don't have any takers on the entire car then its open for the bits and pieces that anyone would want. So if there is a part you want; 1. Give me what you feel its worth and 2. pay for postage. I don't have a lift so getting into serious dismantling in probably not going to happen.

Engine/Tranny questions - This is what I was told by the high school gal that was the primary driver. Car ran and drove great and developed a no start condition after the battery went dead ( I was thinking key disassociation ) The father and his Youtube Mechanic decided it needed a new ECU - that didn't work so they started messing with other stuff and then the project got so out of hand they abandoned the car in drive way daughters mothers house (his X). You can see the drama here, she wanted it gone so I got the car on the very cheap - winch on and go. The car is pictured on the trailer.

Maybe this is only a good deal for those in the area but I felt compelled to share with everyone here for all the good support and advice over the last decade.

If you part it out, does it have the combo PS/SLS pump by chance?

I don't know Spent little time looking under hood - as it was a little disturbing under there. But I will see if it has the tandem pump set up.

To my best recollection this does not appear to be a tandem.:( I was thinking the tops were smaller on the dual units.....
