WTB: These 16x7 steel rims

It sounds like they came on C-class cars as the spare in the early 2000s. Part number is 2034000302. Trying to get 4 together, but the cost of shipping one at a time from different places is my last resort so I'm hoping someone out there has at least a couple to get me started. But please let me know even if you only have one.

What resulting finish are you seeks no on these steel wheels? I'm just curious. Hubcaps? Bare steel wheels?

Try car-part.com Also, have a look at VW / Audi as some used a 112 bolt pattern.

You could also try Tire Rack in their winter wheel department.

I'm just wanting the bare wheels. Did they even have hubcaps? I haven't run across any.

I use Car-Part all the time, but there ain't remotely cars like that in junkyards around here. :laugh3:

I wish. If all else fails I know a few pop up on eBay once in awhile, it'll just take forever to collect enough, especially if I skip the ones with fancy wheel prices.

Actually my dream wheels are the VW Heritage ones, but the center bore is too small so I'd have to mill it out (if there's even enough meat there) and they're 17s which is getting a bit big. Offset is way off too.

Just in case you are interested in what it looks like, these are some 17x6.5 Metris van wheels on my car. Just put them on.

A cheap, easy to find option may be the Crown Vic steels if you're open to 17".

Will have to double check offest and center bore and if wobble bolts will work with steel wheels.

Ha ha, cop car wheels would be fun. And you're right about cheap and plentiful. I know Fords have a bigger center bore, so no problem there, although with wobble bolts you'd have to get a centering ring for installation. If I remember right they have a near-zero offset, which could be good.

I'm sure Ford makes them in-house but they've got an old-school BBS vibe.

The CV 5 on 4 1/2" - 114.3 mm pattern is used on Ford Ranger , rear drive Chrysler products , some Jeep , AMC , some Subaru , small trailers and a bunch of other cars. The depth of use goes back into at least the early 50's

The CV came with 15 , 16 also.

No Ford doesn't make those wheels BBS makes them for Ford they look good

Are those the Lincoln LSC wheels and are they a good fit for a w123 300d?

I imagine they're the same. Crown Victoria people call them "HPP" wheels (handling and performance package). After looking into them some more, apparently they were made by Speedline originally, then BBS started making them. The 5x114 is the main drawback. The offset is so low (plus they're wider than stock) that they may get into the fender. I don't like them enough to pursue them further, but it would be interesting to know if anyone tries them. Non-fugly wheel choices for the 123 are few.
