WTB: w123 300TD rear/2nd row seat belts

Hey all,
been on the hunt for a set of replacement receivers for my wagon but keep striking out. Mine are busted up I assume from years of putting the seats up and down. I need the earlier style notched type. Most importantly need the lapbelt/receiver combo, but would love all three if they are in good condition and buttons aren't terribly bleached.

thanks!

I'm still looking for these. They probably have to come from an 81 or 82 wagon. Unfortunately the earlier ones bolt on differently, as I just found out unfortunately when I found a near perfect set. Just need the lapbelt/receiver combo.

thanks.

Thumbs up

That one looks O.K. if filthy~ have you yet tried washing it using mild cleaner and a soft bristled brush ? .

I just did this to all the belts in my '82 240D and what an improvement ! they soft and flexible like a new silk tie and retract with a snap like new again plus the latches work properly .

I did them in my kitchen sink when SWMBO was gone for a few hours .

I'll go look in my box of spare seat belts to see if I have one with your buckle typ on it .

I have an 81 euro wagon parts car (black cloth interior) I could look at when the weather gets better (like Wednesday or Thursday). I don't recall if it has the third seat but the back seats are all there and I imagine the seat belts are fine. I will check it out in a couple of days if you like.

thanks @awt356. I had hoped that would be the solution, but it has the later style belts unfortunately. I've actually been up to that car a couple of times and gotten some good stuff off of it. It was in surprisingly well maintained condition other than the floor being completely rusted through

I have a shoulder belt but not the receivers. I do have two of the later style receivers.

Thanks. At this point I only need a rear notched lap belt.

Do you need the belt and receiver or just one or the other? Rereading the thread sounds like you wanted both. My wagon doesn't have anything like your pic.

Yes thats what I'm referring to. I guess in the interest of simplicity, I was now referring to the main part of the unit, since I had mentioned and posted an image of the specific thing I was looking for in an above post. I only need the one unit that includes both a notched lap belt and a receiver. I do not need the double receiver unit.

thanks.

You never responded to my question .

I'm off to harvest bits from an '81 W123 to - morrow, I'll see if it's buckle and mount match what you've shown but it'll prolly be just as dirty.....
