Wanted: w123 steering box

Im looking for a tight steering box from a w123 with low miles.
My car has 117k so anywhere near that would be good.

The box thats on it is from a 240d and its adjustedclear out.

I need one with no leaks that has plenty of adjustment left.

It would be best if this is from a car that you have experience with and have driven yourself rather than a junk yard pull with lots of unknowns.

Shipped to 26150

I don't have a part for you, but I wanted to provide a testimonial that I have a w123 with ~500k on it and am still able to keep the original steering box tight with adjustment. You may not need to limit your search to low mileage examples.

Low miles isn't important. Play and whether it was maintained are the only things to worry about.

I rebuild these boxes regularly. You're not going to find a non-leaking box that hasn't been rebuilt. After 30+ years the seals are going to leak soon if they haven't started already.

I don't have any w123 cores at the moment otherwise I'd sell you one.

I've got 2 W123 steering boxes. Both cars were dealership maintained prior to me picking them up.
