I am looking for a pair of Euro W123 "lowline" headlights.

The ones that look like the US Spec round lamps. (see pic attached)

Let me know what you have.

How much do those go for?

I've seen them on eBay a couple times for $200 but is that the right number?

I have a fantastic set available - they are the vacuum-adjustable variety, and I have the dash switch for them as well. I want a manual set without the vacuum adjustment, and would evenly trade mine for such a set. I mention this because the manual ones are generally cheaper to buy than the vacuum-adjustable ones.

Heck, since the manual ones are the ones I want, I'm okay with just selling the pair I have outright too - just shoot me an offer if interested.

I also have an extra pair of glass lenses for these in perfect condition, available for separate sale if desired.

Also, "lowline" (or "lo-spec" as I've heard more often) is an incorrect misnomer. Early non-US 123's had the round appearance ones you mention here, and post-refresh models had the rectangular style. So what you're after is a set of early W123 euro headlamps.

mbz300cd - is your set manual or vacuum-adjustable?

Bosch, vacuum adjust.

Thank you for the clarification on the lamps..Did not mean to offend anyone in case it came across that way.

Quick question regarding the vacuum-adjustment: If I do not hook up the vacuum adjusters is there any way to manually adjust them?

Thanks.

What you say here is about the round and square euros is not entirely true.

Before 1982, the so called lo-spec round headlights did appear on 250 and lower model cars, but it was also standard on the 300d. While 280 and all coupes had standard the square headlights. You can get the round or square headlights with or without vacuum adjustment.

From the end of 1979 all models got vacuum adjustment.

From the end of 1982 all models got the square headlights.

Yes there is a manual adjustment.

The vacuum adjust is for correcting up/down headlight pointing in relation to the load on the vehicle. Both vac and non vac have knobs for Hz and Vert directional adjustment.
