For Sale : Running M104 $350 obo

PRICE REDUCED! And please make an offer

I am selling a running M104 in a 1995 E320.

I bought the car for the transmission but I haven't taken anything apart yet.

The engine sounds good and has good power.

The radiator has a major leak so the car isn't driveable. But I can pour water

in the coolant tank long enough to hear the engine run.

Also, there are some good parts on the car...let me know what you're

looking for and I'll check it out.

Please make an offer on the complete engine.

If you're in the area you can come by to hear it run before I pull it

I am in New Braunfels TX between San Antonio and Austin.

The engine is still in this car.

I've been taking parts off this car and others (see my other posts and threads)

So you still have time to come hear this engine run before it comes out.

And I'm accepting offers.

You're tuned to Scrappy FM, where it's all MB, all the time...

with no static at all!

Thought I'd dust this ad off and throw it on top again.

The engine is still in its original 1995 E320

Get your running M104 in time to put it under the tree

for your significant other

How about a holiday special...50% off

That's right, get a running complete M104 with all accessories for the low low

price of $250 plus shipping

Why would you put a gas engine in a Diesel? Why not just buy an e320 if you don't like your diesel.

It is true that it would ruin the value of an apparently well-kept W126 S class.

ColLonewolf,

While it would be cool to have the M104 in a W126 chassis, I'm almost certain you could pick up a nice W126 S class with a gasoline 6 cylinder for the same amount of money as you would spend making the swap.

Look at this craigslist ad:

https://houston.craigslist.org/cto/d/mercedes-benz-300se-mint/6418942161.html

OR,

If you would like to buy something from me, I will very soon be offering these Mercedes:

* 1991 300e - (W124, M103 engine) white with light gray MB-tex $3500
* 1995 E320 - (W124, M104) smokey gray with parchment MB-tex $5000
* 1979 300SE - (W116, M110 engine) silver with blue MB-tex $8000

If any of these interest you let me know I will keep your contact information and send pics once they have been detailed.

Lone Wolf,

I think I saw an ad here for a W126 with an OM606 swap. Now that's a cool modification!

But still, your 300SD appears to be clean and crisp by your pics... maybe picking up another that is not quite as preserved for a resto-mod experiment.

I'm just spit-balling over here. What did you really have in mind?

This engine is sold, by the way.

I have another W124 E320 that just came in with far less miles, 126,000. I'll try to start it soon. If it's a runner I'll start a new ad.
