WTB: W126 Climate Control Unit
 

My climate control unit kept refusing to switch the open vents (yes, I checked the vacuum pods) so I opened it up and replaced all the capacitors. Unfortunately that resulted in something on the board releasing some magic smoke. So I just want to buy a known good unit at this point.

It is for an '87 SDL so I need the newer style push button unit. Shipping would be to 48025. Let me know what you've got.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I wasn't looking to spend quite that much. That is why I posted in the for sale/wanted section. I'm sure someone on the forums has a known good one in a parts pile or a car that they are parting

I do have a 1980 Euro 280 SE that I may be parting. Would the A/C unit in it help you?

No, that is an early model. They changed the design in 86.

Doesn't matter though. Cause I found a good unit on eBay for $35
