Need w123 touring tail lights to pass inspection.
Hello.
Someone backed into my wife's 300td and broke the right tail lamp. I need to replace in order to pass inspection. Does anyone have a single lamp or set they'd sell? Fyi i have a coffee and avocado farm in Kona if a partial trade is of any interest. Thanks in advance for the consideration. |

Would they pass it if you made your own lens? It's not hard to heat & form thin acrylic, and then cover with tinted wrap.

Someone ( Permatex? ) sells a plastic resin kit where you place a clear release sheet on the outside of the break then mix up / pour liquid from the inside. You won't be able to duplicate the reflector / ribbed portion but will fix the lens. It comes in red, amber, clear.
