req source for 190d stick shift lever boot

Picked up my 1985 190d from the mechanic today after having him change the oil. Also having a engine shut-off problem and he says the vacuum diaphragm is shot and he wanted to know if he should order one.

I told him, "Of course. It has to be fixed." I also asked him to order a new stick shift boot cover because the old one is getting pretty torn and beat up. He said that he didn't think they were available anymore and suggested I try eBay.

Nothing there. Neither at Pelican Parts, unless I missed it.

Does anyone have a source for replacement manual transmission stick shift boots? Rubber for fake leather is fine. The existing one just needs to be replaced.

Not sure if it is the same but I ordered one of the rubber ones for a W123 earlier this year from pelican and they were still available.

The part number is 2012670497, it's about $10-$15 from the dealer.

Thank you. A Google search on the part number shows several on-line retailers that sell it for just under eleven bucks. I'm headed over to the dealership now to order one, (or maybe two).

Thanks disqo. Since the W201 part is still available, I'll try that first before trying a W123 part.
