This is a 17" flat ZIMBER wood steering wheel for W113 230 SL or W111 300 SE 220 SE Pre-1965 cars. The 1" thick wood is in great shape, never any repair or issues. The original hornbutton is also in exc condition. This is a very rare wheel that is in 100% original condition!........$1000 shipped in the USA.

If you think the seller is out of line, send him a genuine offer VIA PM and work it out. Items are worth what someone is willing to pay for them. You want a wheel like this and don't want to pay what he's selling it for? Find another one. Seriously, see how long it takes for another one to come up, for less money. And then buy it. I see Nardi wheels about 10x as often as the Zimber ones. We're not living 20 years ago. The collector market for this stuff is crazy. Someone with a Pagoda that they want this for probably wouldn't bat an eye at $1000 for it. I don't care if it's the user's first post. He didn't go to eBay to auction this thing off. He came here to get rid of it to someone who might want it. Example comp that sold: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-280-SL-W113-Wood-Steering-Wheel-NARDI-15-3-New-NOS/123798748319?hash=item1cd2fafc9f:g:W1UAAOSwjtNZeYEH |

The ZIMBER wheel is available for $750 shipped in the USA. BTW.....I`ve been a Pelican (acoupe) on the Porsche side for 8 years and have always had good transactions with no issues! This Mercedes wheel is the only MB part I own and sure would like to see it go to the proper car......Bill Brown....Lincoln, Ne. porschebill356@msn.com

I gotta say... I've never heard of "Zimber" before and certainly never seen one in a Pagoda. Forum: Is this actually something that was ever used on a Pagoda? Curious. Thanks.

Seller might want to post this on SL113.org Might work better.

I`ve seen pics of a couple Porsche 904s with this type of 4-spoke Zimber wheel. Zimber also did the wood on the Porsche 356 Carrera II factory wood wheels. Google Zimber.....ya might learn something! Thanks for the tip....I`ll try that site.
