I am brand new here so sorry if I am posting in the wrong place, etc.

I just bought a 220 (gas) and am looking for some carburetor parts. Specifically a CARB DIAPHRAM CASE (000-070-02-68-MBZ*) . The part is discontinued and I cant seem to find it anywhere online

Its actually part # 180 on the attached schematic.

What make is the carb?

Did you try above search . Pelican Parts They have the diaphram case 0000700268

Hi, it is a stromberg 175 CD. I did try ordering it and received an email 2 days later saying it has been discontinued. this has been the case at all sites

Have a look on some British car sites for parts as something is bound to have used something similar.

Also look at 60's Volvo ( the site sponsor has a Volvo section so start there ) , I recall twin side draft carb being used on something.

Dont bother above the post above i checked them out, and all i see is kits .
So did you try CLASSICCARBS .COM its in the usa and better for you .
I am thinking that it will have to be a second hand carb for you to take the part out you need. The kit wont have the part included in it . Dont forget Volvo use these carbs on their engines .

thanks for your responses. I have done a search on car-part which is linked to many recyclers/junkyards. I found a couple hits, nothing firm though because the pictures they send seem like they are not complete ... parts missing. Will keep looking. I tried classiccarbs too unfortunately its not there but I will email the guy. thanks!
