WTB: aluminum wheel hubcap clips

Hey everyone, looks like I'm going to be switching from bundts to aluminum "steelies" in the near-ish future. But I was wondering if anyone had some of the teflon tipped hubcap clips available?

thanks!

Part # W0133-1638756 is for the clips with the plastic for the light alloy wheels. They are nearly impossible to find anymore at reasonable prices. I snagged a complete set on ebay 5-6 years ago and i think it was still over $50.

The all metal clips will work on the light alloy wheels however they are quite difficult to get the covers on and off.

Wow you are not kidding. Ok, I guess I am going to have to seriously consider the metal ones. Do you know if there is any size difference in the all-metal vs teflon-tipped ones? If it is mostly to protect the surface I wonder if using a rubberized coating on the all metal ones would work?
