Parting out W123 Euro 280c manual transmission

1977 Mercedes 280c Euro Gray Market Manual Transmission

Rescued this from someone with the idea I'd get it back to a daily driver status but I do not have the time. The previous owner had it since 1984.

Euro lights are gone.

The car ran but a few vacuum hoses melted and I don't want to do the work to fix it.

Let me know what you need.

Oh. I see you’ve tried eBay at $1800.

Now that I see it is carbed, I’d recommend a k-jet motor instead. So it wouldn’t be original anyway. So yeah, screw it, part it out if you want $1800 for it.

Any w123 Coupe fans, Is it worth it?....Restore 77' grey market manual w123 280c M110

Damn, saw on CL that you already sold the bumpers... ;( I'm tempted to take that trans and put it in the 280TE for sale down in San Antonio...

If you're serious, let me know. I just want it out of my drive way.

Too bad it goes away, but sometimes you can't hold on to everything.

I've tried to give away some rare stuff (literally!) on this list, and got lots of talk, no action.

Last one was a R107 hardtop with an electric sliding steel sunroof. Not factory, but still.....
Shame to crush it, the car was pretty complete, but it needed to go since I had sold my SL years ago........

yeah, I was ready to send it to the yard but spoke to someone local who's going to scoop it up today.

I'm not that knowledgable on 107's but, that hardtop seemed rare with the sunroof.

Glad it doesn't get trashed.

Even with the price at free, it was all talk and no action.
Shame to junk it, but it had to go, and nobody thought it was worth the effort to save it.
