WTB R107 Drivers Door Glass

Looking for a driver side, left, door glass for an R107. It needs to have the 5 mounting tabs instead of 4, I will get an image posted soon.

A C107 SLC window will not fit, the windshield lays back further on an SLC so the side window is curved differently. Someone sold me an SLC glass and here I am without a window.

It is for a 1972 350SL.

Let me know what you have!

Thanks,

Paul-Michael

SLC Glass is evident by the curved top edge. I believe the A-pillar line is actually the same, but the top part is curved on an SLC (I believe).

I am not familiar with the 5 mounting points issue. There is a variation in the type of top and bottom stops over the years. So I wonder if the middle tab you are talking about is actually a stop mount tab. I look forward to the pictures.

Are your windows manual or power?

The fifth point is the stop.

I have a convertible glass here that doesn’t have the stop and it doesn’t fit right in the car, it lays the glass back at too much of an angle. Also it has a chip in it

Try birchsgaragemb@gmail.com for a driver window. I’m sure he has some. I know he has a 1972 350sl with manual windows in his shop to be parted out right now. That would probably work.
