WTB: M104.980 cam cover

Want to buy a good used valve cover for my 1992 300ce 3.0l M104.980 (photo of valve cover below). Prefer aluminum as mine is magnesium and is corroded. P/N 1040100930.
PM or email me if you have one in good nick.
Regards
John

Try duxthe1

Also, is there actually a aluminum cover out there?

I'd think about the only solution for corroded mag would be powder coat.

The one in the link was probably mag, the paint was peeling and the metal looks black.

It definitely was magnesium. I’m okay with a good mag cover. Definitely prefer aluminum but probably really rare. Mine is in bad shape and I want to change the gasket out but it’s fairly sketchy and I’m afraid to pull it off without a backup cover. Let me know if any of you find a good one. I’m looking.

Are you sure an aluminum cover even exists?

Did you try to contact the person in my post 3 ?
