Sorry, guys. Should have thought of that. Attached is a photo, not my car but I outlined the subject line. I believe it's common for all V8s 1986-1991 but not 100% sure on that.

If you have your original, take it to a hydraulic shop and ask them to replace the hose. Let them know that the fittings are metric and you want them to reuse it. But first find out what color hose they have. The shop by me only stocks a bright blue one, which I don't like under the hood.

Hogweed's spare will do you well and might cost less to boot. The best thing about it is that it will be black.

Yes, agree. I sent a PM to Hogweed to see if he would "part" with this line I need. Last resort will be a local hydraulic shop, thank you for the advice.

Bright blue line would be terrible but on the "bright" side would add 10hp, right?

The hose in question is on the return side, and is exposed to a pressure only slightly above atmospheric (tank pressure). If it is leaking due to aging, it can be replaced with any hose that is fuel resistant; hose clamps onto the steel ends will be sufficient.

Hi Frank,

I might just give this idea a go, I have several different ID fuel line hoses in my parts stash to choose from. I'll post a photo of the elegance of the repair, if successful.
