I have a new genuine MB rope gear for the rear window shade in an unopened MB bag, apparently discontinued now. When I bought them the dealer said I was getting the last three in the country. I installed one into the 1991 560SEL I had (long ago sold). I sold a second when there was still some residual supply. Forgot I had a third and found it last week! So if you are looking to fix your W126 rear shade you may want to scoop this up as there are probably not too many out there in new condition.
