Wanting to buy spare om606 injectors. Sending mine out to greazeer but don’t want to put my car out of commission while they’re rebuilt.

Like I said, I have some! I have two full sets in stock right now and I rebuild them with any nozzle you want.

I can get them rebuilt for $120 not $800.

$800 includes a REFUNDABLE $240 core charge, so your total out of pocket cost is only $560.

Let me break this down for you (or anyone else reading this), this $560 cost breaks down as follows includes:

$240 (approximate) for the cost of new Monark nozzles, direct from Germany.
$15 to cover priority mail signature confirmation delivery with insurance to you.
$300 for the set of 6 om606 injectors INCLUDING REBUILDING LABOR.

There is ZERO chance that you will get someone else to sell you a set of used om606 nozzles AND rebuild them for just $300. Call around ANY injection shop who can beat that.

Frankly if you think $300 for the nozzles and rebuild service is too much money, then I don't need your business!

I'm not going to pretend for one second that I know anything about your business, the quality of your services, or the length of time it takes you to R&R a set of OM606 injectors, but $560 seems awfully steep.

Especially when you consider that a brand new Bosch injector is ~$99, the highest I found was $113. A set of 6 brand new, warranted injectors from the manufacturer is right at $600, that includes brand new holders, not just the nozzle.

Also just throwing this out there, but know thy competition:

Diesel300,

Thank you for actually proving my point and doing the math for me. Roughly $560 is my current "out the door" price with German Monark nozzles, that I WARRANTY as well. That is indeed less than $600 (Bosch India price). If anyone wants Indian nozzles for more money, by all means, go for it!

Also, thank you for making me re-evaluate my pricing. It is good to do that from time to time. According to the math, I am actually doing these injectors here in the U.S. for less than they do in India. Especially when I factor in taxes, rent, tooling, licensing fees, etc. I should really be raising my prices!

I'm not desperate for the business. I have enough local repair and restoration business to keep me busy for the next year or two. I was just trying to help out a fellow forum member here who was looking for something that I happen to have.

God damn $800... dang near half way to just buying a whole new engine at this price!

Doesn't greezer sell monarks for 10 bucks, cores for $12, and rebuild at $20 per Injector... Ya I understand that's for the more common cheaper 617 parts, which doesn't help u, but still.

It really frickin urks me when guys come on here and advertise their BS... This is a community, not frickin eBay or Craigslist.

Looking like I’ll have to disable the car. Unless someone pops up.

Re-read post #6, for my cost breakdown where I explain how your total cost is not $800. Simply replying to an WTB ad for something I have. Do you have the parts he needs? I do. I don't need to advertise my injector service here. I just happen to have what the guy wants and the price he is willing to pay doesn't work for me.

I read your post.

Still looking for a set of injectors that are used to send mine out for rebuild. Might have a lead on a set for $50 just waiting for the guy to dig them out.

Meant like a "new to me" engine. Not literally new 0 miles.
