Will have 8 bolts on the side plates, and the ratio 3.27 stamped on the bottom flange of the housing

In North America (per MBNA) the 3.27 ratio was supplied thru September 1981; thereafter the ratio was 2.47. In the rest of the world the 3.27 may have been supplied later.

For all markets only up to 09/1981.

I have some guy here in Thailand trying to middle me one from Germany at an obscene cost and apparently 1.3 case at 3.27.
All I have pics is the 8 side bolt case, and the 3.27 stamp, but I don't have much faith in the technical ability of the middle man

I found another in the USA but 1.1 case

I read that as:
1984-1985, 380 SE+SEL, 3.27
from 1981-10, 2.47, 1.3 Liter"

IE one year only at 3.27
Or am I hopelessly confused????
