Will Trade Injector service in exchange for set of injectors
Looking for two to three sets overall.
Looking for MATCHED sets of German made, OM616 or OM617 injectors. Will trade my service in exchange for a likewise matched set of injectors. So, that means if you have a set of four (OM616) then I would trade that for a set of four matching injectors. Same deal with the OM617 Matched means same body style, Stuttgart coded "060" German made, same type, e.g., KSA 30 S 35/4 or KSA 30 S 46. Not really interested in the older styles. Same serial production run as well. This is a three-digit number and that number is the same on the set. This means generally they came together when they left the factory although there are literally 1,000s of injectors which have this #, so you could theoretically not have a true matched set and the numbers are the same. Just putting that out there for the trolls and experts. If you have injectors with the 'rebuilt' black rubber band, please remove that to verify you have a true matched set. Normally those black rubber bands tell me that set is a hodge podge of injectors. |

What do you mean? The person doing the trade is getting at least 3x the value for a core if not 4x

No, no... what's the advantage of having matched injectors?

I don’t want a mixed bag. I prefer a set which came originally as a set.

Yes but why? What’s wrong with a mixed bag?
Is there any discernible difference between two identical injectors that come from different sets? Or is this purely a cosmetic thing? I have an extra set I’d be happy to trade, but I am curious.

I guess it’s ultimately a personal preference and it’s a requirement for my offer. There is a nuance with having the same set’s injectors with the same age, wear, and being used at the same time all those years. I doubt it is something which is appreciable but it is to me
