Hello dear owners of w123.
My name is Sergey, I am writing to you from distant Moscow, this is somewhere in Russia and my english very bad, sorry. Most of the time it is cold here, i have to move around on bear, but sometimes i are lucky and the sun of free America shines here. On these rare days, i can remove the tarpaulin awning and drive out of the military base in my favorite Mercedes. Here there is a nuance: we, Russians, as the strongest and most prosperous nation (we are told so on TV) bring ourselves the best complete sets of cars from all over the world (they have nothing at all. We call it a "drum"). What you give to recycling points, our compatriots buy out and sell in our country 2-3 times more expensive. That's how we live.
Tired of tolerating the antics of my comrades, I decided to write to you asking for help. For my w123 the following details are needed:
- Complete set of air conditioner for 230e, m102. This motor was not common with you, so I am ready to purchase all components from other engines, except for the pulley and compressor;
- Instrument cluster (preferably with a tachometer, but not required)
- Сhrome Frill;
- Chrome under the rear lights;
- All-chrome bumper (front/rear);
- Front optics (with yellow headlights in the center, with an overlay);
I will pay special attention to the interior: I would take the skins of the seats. Entirely: armrest, visors and door cards (without power windows). Only light colors (blue, green, black - not interesting).
The priority is a full swap A/C kit, the rest is secondary, the salon is in last place. I hope for your help, although I understand that some difficulties may arise with sending to our labor camp
A little about my car: sedan 230e, m102.982 equipped with k-jetronic, manual transmission with 5 gears, 1980 y/o, palomino salon. Purchased for $ 2,000 in 2018. I will attach photographs
