15" 8-hole 123/126 rims w/ tires FS
I realize there is a for-sale forum, but I really need to sell these asap, so I'm posting in every applicable forum:
I'm selling a set of 15" 8-hole silver rims, offset for a 123 or 126 (I think its 25mm), with tires that have a good amount of tread left. I had these on my 123 280E, and they looked great. A perfect upgrade for either body style car that doesnt have alloy rims. Looking to get $360 shipped with lugs. Email me at roym@kenyon.edu, thanks a lot |

Hi:
I would have some interest in these if they are in the Northern VA area where I could view/pickup without having to pay for shipping. If they are with you at school, you might tell people where you are because it may generate more interest from the locals there. To even make a consideration, I would want the exact size information that appears inside the wheel (where the brake dust collects!). It would give the diameter and width of the rims, and the ET number which is the offset. Also, please pass along the manufacturer, model name and size of the tires. This additional information will help anyone interested in your wheels & tires if we don't conclude a deal. When you say "silver" I'm expecting this is the factory finish alloy wheel. I'm not interested in chrome wheels.... Ken300D |

Ken,
the rims are 15x7 with a 24mm et two tires are dunlop d60 a2 (good all-season, high performance) other two were mounted later, i'll need to check the exact brand, but a more generic one. I am in the northern virginia area (mclean, about 5 minutes away from the cia/langley) so let me know if you want to meet up. Email me, and I'll give you my contact information. Thanks a lot! and no they are NOT chrome - factory silver, though shinier than stock (a more modern finish). |

oh yeah and all four tires are 205/60/15 size, standard one-up size for 123's, no rubbing or fitment problems whatsoever. A much better ride than stock too (assuming steel 14's).

OK, thanks for the additional information. I'm still not sure I'm interested in them - just thinking - at least the information is out there for the others.
What do you think is a reasonable price if they are picked up and don't have to be shipped? Ken300D (I work in Arlington) |

well upon closer inspection, one rim does have a little curb scratch in one spot; not apparent unless you're looking right at it on that rim. That said, maybe 200 for all four with tires and no shipping? go to tirerack.com and put on the 15" 8-holes on your car, they look very good.

The price is reasonable. I've given it some more thought and spent some time looking at what I've got right now on the '82 300D - and I've decided to stay with them. They are the 15-hole 15" wheels from a 1988 300SE.
What I hope to find someday is a nice set of 8-hole wheels for the '87 300D in the offset that the W124 cars use. So, I hope someone takes you up on the offer. I know that posting a picture would help too. Ken300D |
