1998-99 E300 Hybrid Stock K14 turbo
Hi Everyone- I have a modified stock KKK K14 turbo from a W210 turbodiesel that was done by G-Pop Shop in Arkansas. I had the work done 2/2019 and put roughly 25,000 miles on the turbo. I just sold the engine on the car and have this available.
Here is what they did to the unit: *complete standard rebuild- included full cleaning and balance *upgrade/machining, billet extended tip compressor wheel, 9 blade turbine wheel * Port and polish *Ceramic coating in titanium color They said the unit should be a roughly 15% improvement over stock. It seems the stock turbo is good for about 230 hp max so this is a good bit more when combined with a tuned ecu. I had a Sean Treacey stage 2 tuned ecu and this set up really moved out. Jake from this forum drove the car and can vouch for my comments. Spool was immediate off idle and the car really pulled off the line with hardly any throttle input. This is a one for one swap for any stock turbo so there is no simpler answer for a quicker car - no messing with intercoolers, manifolds, oil lines, etc. Cost $1000 for the work. Looking for $750 for the turbo. Located in Fairfield County CT. Last edited by ccrelan; 11-09-2020 at 06:52 AM. |
