New scammer angle
Instead of posting in the WTB threads these jagoffs are now directly emailing members with the same bs “I have the part you need in great condition….”
It well and truly sucks that we can’t keep these creeps from joining but it seems to be falling on deaf ears |
Gregg - In the recent past I have used the red warning triangle at the top of each post box to notify the forum moderator that a possible scammer has just posted. I am glad to report that the scammer’s post has been deleted by the moderator. Thanks. Bill Whitmore

I, too received an unsolicited email regarding some parts I arranged to buy from a long time poster who lives in my state. The email was, like, a third party through Pelican Parts. I ignored and deleted it.

SCAMMER |
I got one of the scam emails this morning but without the PM message. Joelson is the sender and the reference was to my add for a piece of a gen 1 w126 LH quarter panel.
I think this is the second I got from that user. |
If pelican wants to put me on payroll to moderate the forum, I'd do it.
But no pay = wild west |
I volunteered to do it and never heard a peep
