I'm looking for a cheap drive shaft front section from preferably a W123 300D. I need this so I can cut it up and make a custom driveshaft. I'll accept a damaged one so long as the splines that connect to the rear section of the drive shaft are good.

I'm not wanting to cut the one I have which has already been modified for my old OM617 4speed swap.

I can sell you my complete one. I just parted a 83 300d. Bone head ran it out of oil and then parked it on grass for years.im in goldsboro nc

I really don't need a whole one. I would just end up scraping the rear section. Also shipping the whole thing would be a pain. Would you be willing to sell and ship just the front section?

I do have the front section from a w123 240d 4 speed floating around but to verify do you know how long the 240 sections are? I want to be sure. It was a iron box 240d. I also pulled a 280e shaft years ago for my manual conversion.i did not liable it and I want to be sure the shaft I found is the 280 not 280. I will one day use the 280 one

I've got the driveshaft from a 83 300d, auto tranny, if your still looking.

Turns out I found what I need in my own parts collection. A W211 front shaft will fit on the W123 rear shaft.
