Are the forums basically useless now b/c of scammers?
 

I'm wondering if there's any way to fix the F/S boards so they are overwhelmed by spammers?

Almost every WTB or F/S post is immediately overrun with spammers telling you to gmail someone about whatever you're buying or selling. It's insane. Is this not fixable?

One fix is to report the possible scammer as a scam. Anytime you see an offer to sell a part from a forum user that is a recent registrant or uses TapaTalk to post a response that is a red flag to a scammer. In the upper right hand corner of each post is a red and white triangle. Click on this triangle to report a possible scammer to the site administrator.

That is a piece of information that I did not know. In fact I just responded to a fellow about my repainted bundts - and he used TapaTalk.

Or just ignore them.. they are way too obvious to be a threat IMO.
