I bought this on ebay as it was advertised as a 300E grill, and I was going to use it as a temporary for my car while I had my grill dechromed and blacked out. But it is actually from a W123 Chassis not a 300E as the Seller described.

I have contacted the Seller in regards to it, to see if the seller will want to reimburse me for it even though I have not asked for a reimbursement. I still can as the item was essentially falsely advertised as a 300E grill.

If anyone is in need of one for their w123, this is in pretty good condition. It does not have the laurel wreath badge, but it does have the hood star. The insert is there and not cracked, but it is slightly faded. The chrome strips are in good shape. The chrome on the grill looks pretty good, probably just needs a good polishing.

If anyone wants to buy it from me, $60.00 is the price. Shbipping will be whatever shipping actually costs. Not too bad at all for a pretty much complete grill with shell.

If the E-bay seller wants to reimburse me for it I will be returning it to him, but if someone is in need of this, I will sell it to you.

Let me know, I don't think it would fit on my car, but if it does, I might put it on for a week or two while I have my grill redone.

Let me know, because I doubt it will fit at all, and I woul like to get the right grill shell for the car so I can do my modification to the old shell and still have a chrome one to put on if I want.
